Summary/Objective
• This role supports Director of finance team will evaluate and response to the financial risk and oversee / perform audits to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal control while also evaluating the adequacy of financial and/or operational controls, including company policies and procedures.
• This position will prepare the monthly closing and profitability report to the management and monitor the company’s major financial area.
• This position will manage SAP CO (controlling) module including the comparison between the actualized profit and its budget.
• This position will co-work with other operation team to handle the outstanding issues.What You’ll Do (list responsibilities)
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
• Review monthly financial statements and trend analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy of results, ensures account balances are fully reconciled, and manage the preparation the financial results in a timely manner
• Management of the monthly/quarterly/annual accounting close / analyzing / reporting process.
• Monthly and quarterly reporting on IFRS consolidated package
• Key member for the financial reporting internal controls implementation initiatives including documentation of internal control procedures, identification of inefficiencies/gaps and implementation of process improvements
• Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by external auditors
• Responsible for company accounting processes and functions, including timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions and system reconciliations
• Coordinate and run monthly CO reports
• Perform multi-level Intercompany transactions, reconciliations and analysis
• Prepares detailed analyses of financial statements to reflect variances in assets, liabilities, income, expenditures and capital asset values from previous periods. Makes recommendations to administration concerning means of reducing organizational operating costs and increasing revenues, based on knowledge of financial reports and industry operating procedures.
• Routine and adhoc reporting of adopter statistics
• Prepare monthly leadership meeting slides for adopter analytics
• Provide leadership to strengthen the accounting team with a commitment to recruiting, training and mentoring of staff.
• Ad hoc projects and analysis to support the senior and executive management
• Performs other duties as required.
• Working Conditions: Approximately 20% travel.Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree of Accounting, finance or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and US-GAAP.
• English Korean bilingual
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Ability to work independently developing alternative solutions to complex problems, and at a high degree of accuracy, initiative and reliability.
• Ability to work in international environment
• Ability to build trustful relationships across all levels of organization (no-silo mentality)
• Strong analytical skills to create meaningful reports from large pools of data
• strong commitment to deadlines and attention to detail
• ability to work cross functionally and communicate with people at all levels of the organizationPreferred Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
• Proficient with enterprise-wide business systems (SAP)
• Professional certification such as CPA strongly preferred
• More than 4 years of experience including at least 3 busy seasons in external audit with a Big 4 or large CPA firm preferred복지혜택
