    ROLE OVERVIEW
    EBIN NEW YORK is seeking a skilled Assistant Accounting Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting and hands-on experience in both general accounting and bookkeeping functions. The Assistant Accounting Manager will oversee financial transactions, analyze and maintain financial information, and ensure the accuracy of staff reports. Responsibilities include understanding and supporting various financial operations such as debts, assets, payroll, and revenue analysis, as well as providing recommendations for improving accounting methods and processes. This role involves supporting month-end closing processes, maintaining accurate financial data, and contributing to improvements in accounting processes and reporting accuracy. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills in English are essential for this role.

    SALARY RANGE USD $60,000 – $75,000
    JOB LOCATION NJ HQ (5 Empire Blvd, South Hackensack, NJ)

    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Record and process daily financial transactions, including account payable and accounts receivable.
    • Support monthly close, prepare and present monthly executive reports.
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
    • Assist in managing the company’s financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets.
    • Review and match bank statements and assist in monitoring cash flow.
    • Communicate with vendors and external partners regarding invoices, payments, and discrepancies.
    • Support financial reviews and audits by preparing required documentation.
    • Maintain proper accounting guidelines and procedures.
    • Monitor daily financial transactions and identify discrepancies or issues.
    • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by the executive management team.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to support internal stakeholders

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial operations.
    • Hands-on experience with general ledger and month-end closing processes preferred.
    • Proficiency in English (written and verbal) required.
    • CPA certification preferred, not required.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
    • Experience with financial statements and financial reporting.
    • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    • Experience in implementing financial initiatives and process improvements.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
    • Diligence and accuracy.
