Waiting time to speak with representative takes quite long time, so I recommend make it early in the morning as soon as you filed I-765.
(Please make a phone call at any time and find out when is their business hours first.)

Step 3. Visit USCIS Application Support Center with documents required

2004년 6월에 처음 신청해서 9월 경 받았고, 얼마전에 Renew 신청했습니다.
Renew는 신청할 때와 같은데 예전에 받은 EAD 번호를 쓰는 난이 있더군요.
현재 신청만 되어 있고, 이후 절차는 아직 진행하지 않았습니다.
아무래도 전화해서 Fingerprinting and Photographs를 또 해야 되겠지요…

이 글 말고도 몇 개의 글에 댓글로 달았는데, 댓글은 검색이 안되는군요.
이 글을 남기는 취지는 EAD는 본인이 직접 충분히 할 수 있으므로 괜히 변호사비용 낭비하지 말고, 직접 해 보시라는 취지입니다.

EAD 받고 SSN은 가까운 SSA에 가서 신청해서 한 2주 후 정도에 받았던 것으로 기억합니다.
복잡하지도 않고, 시간도 많이 안 걸리더군요.

DL은 모두다 아시는 것 같아서 생략합니다.

미국에서 공증은 Public Notary라고 하고, UPS 같은 곳에 가면 10불 정도합니다.
주의하실 점은 번역이나 문서 자체에 대한 공증이 아니고, 번역했다고 서명한 사람이 직접 와서 신분증 확인했다는 것에 대한 공증입니다. 즉 번역에 대한 책임(?)은 번역했다고 서명한 사람의 몫입니다.

저의 경우는 485는 아니더라도 EAD Renewal을 E-file로 했는데
추가 자료 보내라고만 메일이 오더군요.
Biometric은 현재까지 다시 하라고 하는 얘기가 없는데…

RFE로 I-94 (본인 및 L1), 결혼증명서(L2이므로), 사진(비자용 2장), 서명 제출하라는 메일 받아서 보냈습니다.
