저는 현재 e2 비자 배우자로 남편 사업체에서 조금의 월급과 그리고 제가 따로 직장에서 파트타임으로 일하고 있어서 월급을 받아오고 있습니다.
그런데 워크퍼밋이 2015년 1월 10일날 expire 된것을 모르고 있었어요.
그래서 혼자서 급히 리뉴를 하려고 알아보니 아래와 같은 글이 있더라구요.

In November of 2013, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) reversed a previous denial and found that E-2 spouses, or the spouses of treaty investors in the United States, can in fact work without having to apply for an employment authorization card.
The Board of Immigration Appeals examined various statutes and regulations including 8 U.S. C. § 1184 and 8 C.F.R. § 274a.12, and determined that while an approved EAD is explicitly required for family members of E-1 visa holders, there was no comment as to E-2 family members.  Therefore, E-2 spouses do not require an employment authorization card to work in the U.S.

그럼 E2 배우자는 워크 퍼밋 없이도 일해도 괜찮은건가요?
전 이번주에도 월급을 받은터라 혹시 잘 못 될까봐 걱정이 되어서요.
혹시 나중에 영주권 신청시 불리하거나 그런건 아닐지도 궁금합니다.
혹시 아시는분 계신가요?
만약 신청을 해야 한다면  요즘 e2 배우자 work permit 신청하면 기간이 얼마나 걸리나요??
