Qualifying electronic bill payments are individual or recurring bill payments that you make to a third party; by pre-authorized transfer; using Citibank Online; or using CitiPhone Banking® bill payment service. Staff-assisted bill payments are subject to a monthly maintenance charge of $4.95. Payments you make by check and transfers between linked accounts do not qualify. When the $1,500 minimum balance requirement is not met, your package will be subject to a maintenance fee and a per check fee that are as follows: $.50 per check in CA and NV; in all other markets you get 10 free checks: after that, it’s $1 each. There is also a monthly service fee of $7.50 fee in NY, NJ, CT and TX, and $9.50 in all other states.

(2) To open a Citibank® e-Savings Account you must have or open a checking account in the Citibank EZ Checking, Citibank Account, Citibank Everything Counts®, or CitiGold® Account relationship package. Your Citibank e-Savings Account must also appear on the same statement as your checking account. Regular Checking accounts do not earn interest. Fees may apply to the checking account. If at any time your e-Savings Account is not statement-linked to one of the aforementioned checking accounts, your e-Savings Account will earn interest at the rate then applicable to the Citibank Day-to-Day savings account.

citibank checking account 의 최대 장점은 ATM fee 를 reimburse 해준다는 것입니다. 즉, 다른 은행 ATM에서 돈을 찾을 때 붙은 $1.50 정도의 fee를 한달에 5번(이전에는 $6 이었는데.. 바뀐것 같음) 까지는 다음 달에 credit 으로 돌려줍니다. 아무데서나 fee 신경 안쓰고 현금 뽑을 수 있어서 아주 편리합니다. 7-11 에서는 아예 fee가 안 붙고요.
bill payment 도 잘 되어 있습니다.
