Please take a look at the job description below and send your resume to <strong>daniel.jang@cesna.com</strong> if you are interested in. <strong>Position : Dispatcher of Container Drayage Operations (Entry ~ 2+ years) Location : Duluth, GA & Dallas, TX Responsibilities : </strong> Revenue and Profitability Growth - Maintain close contact with key and new potential customers with regard to growing the revenue, providing exceptional service, and minimizing per diem/demurrage expense. - Coordinate closely with customers and other OD container division terminals to provide safe and efficient world class service. - Maintain close relationships with the steamship and rail carriers to foster excellent service to our customers, minimize maintenance and repair expenses, minimize per diem/demurrage and claims issues. - Train Owner Operators and/or company drivers with regard to all OD policies and procedures and audit periodically to ensure compliance. Time Management - Program time and effort to allow for adequate time for accomplishment of all administrative and computer tasks - Design and execute daily and weekly dispatch plans and set customer appointments ahead to maximize efficiency. - Allow time to monitor key operational metrics. - Adopt a program of self-development including regular study of both national and local trade periodicals and internet outlets. Administration Duties - Control local operational related expenses to budgeted amounts. - Handle internal and external correspondence timely. - Carry out and report on any special assignments as requested by the Manager of Container Sales and Service or other management. Requirements - Candidate must have experience with container drayage dispatching or related transportation dispatching experience. - Ideal candidate will have experience contracting owner operators and managing an Intermodal container drayage operation.
