Now Editing “Cost Accountant” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) Company * Location Expires at SAMSUNG SDI (Michigan) is now hiring for the following: COST ACCOUNTANT - (Assistant) Managerial position Description: In this role, you'll be utilizing your technical accounting expertise to provide the following support: Cost accounting - Cost analysis Financial accounting Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing Monthly, quarterly balance sheet and P & L Fluctuation Analysis Monthly expense variance analysis Inter-company transactions and reconciliations Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/ US GAAP and compliance to internal policies Income Statement analysis including horizontal and vertical analysis Balance sheet accounts reconciliations Government reporting including US census Payroll accounting – understanding and posting journal entries A/R, A/P management (possible A/R collection) Interface with management in various departments, including engineering, sales operations, IT and legal. Qualifications and Experience: Engineering service accounting experience is a plus Deadline oriented Strong desire and willingness to learn Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA/CPA candidate is a plus but not required. Strong technical accounting background. At least three years general ledger accounting experience is required SAP experience is a plus SAP module, FI, TR, AA, IM, SD, MM experience is a huge plus but not required.
