#1 – Technical Operations Specialist II
SUMMARY
In charge of North America MCP (Master Contents Provider) contents server operation. Responsibility includes development support, route logic analysis, quality validation, CP quality related VOC response, and daily monitoring of the CP systems. Respond to clients’ requests and cooperate in mutual projects. (CP: Charging Stations (EvGo, ChargePoint etc), Weather, Speed Cam, Local Search, VR…)
Support logic localization effort by integrating existing logic into the native environment. Plan and perform regular/occasional field driving tests against competitors to benchmark and improve overall Contents quality.
Collect, interpret, and visualize driving test data for the purpose of improving user experience.
Utilize necessary tools for in-depth analysis of CPs data quality and communicate with CPs to maintain and improve the accuracy of the provided contents.
Additional obligation in managing CP and client relations, supporting test of clients, and coordinating with Headquarter. Also, support the system operation between CP, clients, and Headquarter.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operation Management (50%)
Plan and perform driving field test for CP quality (real-time charging stations, etc.)
Research required test environment and set up corresponding vehicle
Organize and analyze test data to identify points of improvements and errors
Report daily/monthly user usage trend through analyzing the cross data from CCS server and MCP server
Respond to the customer reported issues by identifying the root cause and validating the solution
Conduct regular meetings with clients to cooperate on field test operations to improve the overall quality of Contents Related service
Perform regular/occasional software update test
Monitor status of the MCP contents server and react to any malfunctions on notice.
Communicate with the CCS team regarding server issues, system maintenance, and client requests
Report map-related issues to the provider and test the countermeasuresQuality Engineering (50%)
Plan and perform driving field test for the software update
Create and manage test cases based on the development validation results
Run the test cases to gather and distribute the result
Investigate the application of new features and recreate the environment to confirm the functionality
Set up head unit and vehicles according to the test environment
Perform local testing for head unit related features on all available platforms
Raise issues revealed from testing, check the progress of the fix, and validate the fix through additional testing.
Analyze customer issues and investigate for possible improvements
Perform test for new features and/or issues regarding previous customer complaints

JOB REQUIREMENTS
BS / BA degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in quality assurance, engineering, or other related field
Understanding and ability to use collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
Experience using Car Connected Services
Experience with test automation tools
Strong root-cause analysis skills
Detailed knowledge of IT security
Experience with Python, Matlab, and SQL scripting
Experience of Cloud Server such as AWS
Excellent oral presentation and writing skills
Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ability to meet deadlines
Experience in automotive technology industry preferred
Korean bi-lingual strongly preferredHourly Range – $32.39/hour to $46.31/hour
#2 – Supervisor, IVI Technical Operations
PURPOSE
Lead CP quality control projects by monitoring every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards
Responsible for training and monitoring/analysis engineers to meet the engineering requirements needed for CP related change/ issues
Develop standards and procedures to determine CP quality and release readiness
Establish Evaluation plans and policies according to API release and main event schedules, and publish reports by Evaluation results according to issue management standards
Support local client events (audits/joined-validation etc.), while tracking and managing raised issues
Communicate CPs (such as charging stations (e.g., EvGo, ChargePoint) and other providers like HERE, TomTom…).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Account Management (10%)
Act as company liaison and contact point for North America HMG subsidiaries – HMA, KUS, HACC, KCI, Mobis, HMB, etc.
Contact point for content suppliers.
Manage projects from initial requirement stage on through completion stage, ensuring appropriate documentation and completion
Conduct/Lead formal project meetings with team, other departments, and customers
Infotainment Market Research (10%)
Research and analyze new technologies, create and deliver compelling business cases related to infotainment in the N.A market.
Explore startup organizations to identify and formulate new potential opportunities
Attend industry conferences/meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest market trends
Perform a BMT related to infotainment or contents (EV, parking etc.)
Technical Role (40%)Daily monitoring service, finding issues to identify the root causes and finding a solution to meet SLA requirements of clients.
Leading and managing all issues related to content delivery services.
Managing workflow, escalations and effectively delegating across to related teams.
Driving the creation of quality/process change initiatives.
Manage Field Testing
Adequate knowledge about the development process of new/future MCP related content/features (such as development process, test, protocols, etc.)
Supporting headquarter by testing newly developed content or any type of development related to MCP with internal and external software.
Supporting Quality Engineer for monthly testing.Manage MCP (40%) – EV charging, HERE (Traffic, Local Search), Parking, etc.
Contribute operational monitoring for the audit for MCP related contents for each platforms.
Operating software application (VSC) developed by HQ for MCP-related contents.
Manage CP related issues and Evaluation progress
1st stage response of server related incident/ problem as local entity
Communicate with contents providers about escalated issues
Communicate with customers (e.g., HMA, KUS, HACC, KCI, Mobis, HMB, etc.) as a local entity

Bachelor’s degree in Business/or computer science-related field. Master’s preferred.
5-10 years of experience as in automotive technology industry
Experience individuals who have worked in Automotive Tier 1 Supplier.
Experience working with large companies, preferably automotive and/or software manufacturers or contents suppliers
Experience in automotive business management, market research, and marketing
Be comfortable with technical & business audiences
Bi-lingual in Korea preferred
Python developer preferred
Salary Range – $89,190 to $127,534
