Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS) – Contract

Pay: $50–$65/hr
Location: On-site (In Person) / Irvine, California
Job Type: Contract

We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS) to support and operate secure, scalable, and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB)

Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform

Monitor systems with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config

Optimize performance, reliability, and cloud costs

Enforce security best practices (IAM, Security Groups, encryption)

Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams

Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production

Strong knowledge of AWS core services and IaC tools

Experience with monitoring, automation, and cloud security

Python or Bash scripting experience

Docker/Kubernetes experience is a plus

Preferred

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

Hybrid or multi-cloud experience

Korean / English bilingual preferred
