    [Company information]
    · The company is engaged in a joint venture to open a career college in the city of Greenville in scenic northwestern Pennsylvania as part of an area revitalization effort involving career training and business development.
    · Located in historic downtown, the school will provide accredited market-driven programs for domestic and international populations with programs in areas such as culinary arts, hospitality management, computer management, accounting and business management, and visual communications, offering career diplomas/certificates and specialized associated degrees. The school will use a blend of in-person and online tools as well as state of the industry facilities for student learning and training to prepare students for entry level positions upon graduation.
    · The position is to help develop and launch a culinary arts program and then oversee it after the school opens
    · Visa sponsorship leading to U.S. Permanent Residency is available depending on job performance.


    [Responsibilities for this position]

    · Participate in the creation and implementation of development plan from applying for a license through the Pennsylvania Department of Education through the opening of the college by writing a culinary arts curriculum and giving feedback on educational requirements for facilities
    · Recommend and participate in hiring process for staff necessary for a culinary arts program
    · Build relationships with local and regional members of the food services industry, government officials, and community leaders to facilitate the operation of the culinary arts program
    · Recommend and monitor the budget necessary for the successful running of a culinary arts program
    · Facilitate the process of accreditation of the culinary arts program
    Willingness and ability to teach and write curriculum

    [Requirements & Qualifications]
    ·A degree and certification in a relevant discipline
    ·Two to four years of experience with teaching or administration of a culinary arts program
    ·Ability to succeed in a fast-paced global business

    · Appreciation for the arts and knowledge of current events and trends related to performing arts.
    · Experience in planning, administering, managing, and reconciling budgets.
    · Positive attitude: proven ability to work successfully with diverse student populations; and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
