JOB SUMMARY.Incumbent in this role performs professional duties related to the review, assessment and development of business processes combining business-planning expertise to develop, analyze and translate department’s business requirements into business process changes. The focus of the Business Analyst is to review telematics business processes in order to gain a complete understanding of current procedure, identify areas of improvement and document those processes.JOB RESPONSIBILITY· The Business Analyst operates under the supervision of the National Manager of Business Planning and assists him/her and assists the Executive Coordinator in a variety of projects related to telematics. The projects will be a series of short-term, rapid turn-around projects.· Create and manage extensive and complex financial business planning spreadsheets and power point presentations.· Create professional documentations such as Roles & Responsibilities, Process and Procedure, Product Requirement Documents, etc.· Writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training as necessary.· Identifies opportunities for improving business processes· Performs business processes analysis and recommend configuration changes and performs business analysis. A good understanding of the current state of the organization is necessary prior to recommending changes related to implementing new business solutions.· Consults with functional management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, operational procedures, problems, and inputs/output requirements.· Researches and prepares statistical reports/data, consolidates information into cohesive and understandable form for use in management decision-making.· Responsible for knowledge transfer activities.· The person in this role needs to communicate with Korea HQ and deliver material/presentations. This person will also be responsible for translating materials, forms, documents, presentations, etc. from English to Korean and vice versa, hence excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean is essential.· Additional responsibilities as assigned.EXPERIENCEAt least 2+ years of experience as a consultant at a major consulting company in strategy and financial fields.Professional document preparation experience.Must have business analysis skills and experienceKnowledge transfer capabilities through formal or informal meetings, training sessions, or documented processesExperience in research, development and implementation of policies, programs, procedures, business process analysis.Broad understanding of problem identification, analysis and resolution.REQUIREMENT SKILLS.Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (esp. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).Superb English written and verbal communication skills.Bilingual Korean/English.Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.Strong interest in technology, IT and/or telematics and fast learner.Must be well organized and have the ability to pay close attention to details.Exhibit team work.Able to multi-task and maintain composure.Best practices for general business, administrative and operational procedures.Ability to make standard forms, templates and processes
Ability to review and update Terms and ConditionsComputer applications experience:Advanced Microsoft Office Skills required· Excel – able to create/update spreadsheets with links, mathematical formulas, functions (average, look-up, etc.), charts, and graphs.· Word – able to create/update documents with complex formatting such as table of contents, columns, tables, charts, and graphs.· PowerPoint – able to create/update presentations with complex formatting such as columns, tables, charts, graphs, bullets, animation, backgrounds, etc.· Able to operate office equipment, i.e. copier, telephone, calculator, adding, computer keyboard (50 wpm), etc.· Outlook – Able to schedule/change meetings with the correct resources (people, meeting rooms) and notify invitees.Language skills:· Superb English skills – Ability to read, write and speak fluently and clearly utilizing proper spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.· Respond effectively to verbal or written inquiries.· Read and interpret difficult instructions.
