AirForce solutions can be found in leading brands of Wi-Fi gear such as Apple, Belkin, Buffalo, Dell, eMachines, Gateway, HP, Linksys/Cisco, and Motorola. – Position open to RF, RFIC, RF Systems, RF Applications engineers. Responsibilities include bringup, optimization, verification, and productization of highly integrated transceivers designed for WLAN (802.11 a/b/g,n) applications. Bringup the RFIC/PCB and optimize various design parameters such as phase noise, IQ imbalance, power, gain, spurs, noise figure, AGC, filter, and system parameters such as EVM, PER, ACPR, etc… Develop python/tcl programs to efficiently optimize and verify these RFIC and system parameters. Develop test plan and strategy to effectively screen chip at production. Perform failure analysis and resolve system malfunctions reported by customers.
-Typically requires a BSEE degree and 6 years of experience, an MSEE degree and 2 years of experience or a PhD. -Related experience in RF/Wireless, RFIC, or RF systems development. -Strong knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n is desirable -highly proficient with lab work
