More on H-1B Demand for FY2010

USCIS has informed AILA that within the first five business days, USCIS received almost half the petitions needed to meet the FY2010 cap and has received just short of the 20,000 needed to reach the master’s cap. Additionally, on the day USCIS determines that sufficient petitions have been received, pursuant to 8 CFR § 214.2(h)((ii), the USCIS will conduct a random selection lottery from among petitions from those received on that day. —-For bachelor degree, there are still half of available spots and for master degree, there are a short of spot for H-1. But all candidates who send their application for H-1 by April 7.2009 can get a review of thier application without lottery.

이번엔 학사쪽이 훨씬 텅텅 비는 사태가 벌어졌네요. 정말 신기
오히려 추측과는 달리 석사쪽이 빠듯하게 되고

인도계 스태핑회사가 많이 빠져서 그렇습니다.
대개 인도현지에서 학사소지자 프로그래머들을 대량으로 데려오거든요.

결과를 보니 실수요자 위주로 분위기가 전환된듯 보이네요….

궁금한게 있는데…
석사 쿼터가 먼저 차면
그다음부턴 학사 쿼터 찰때까지
석사, 학사 모두 지원 가능한게 맞나요?

이미 지원 가능한 사람들은 대부분 지원했다고 보면
절만 정도 남는 학사 쿼터는 꽤 오랜기간 동안 (앞으로 몇달간)
남아있을 가능성이 높다고 생각해도 될까요?????
