What we are looking for: Experienced in researching complex accounting issues and preparing the necessary notes and work papers. Confident working with clients. Embraces working closely within a team, and supervising other team members when needed. Possesses the communication, people skills and drive to advance within the firm. Role and responsibilities • Prepare/review financial statements and maintain communication with clients in accordance with professional standards • Analyze and review general ledger balances and activities • Assist to evaluate and implement client's internal controls • Review optimal leverage strategy • Understand the Client’s business and related needs • Document and update permanent files • Prepare/review tax returns and provide tax advice for clients Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field • 4+ years accounting & tax experience at CPA firm required • CPA or CPA in process desired • Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting • Full cycle accounting experience • Complex accounting research experience that lead to analytical solutions • Tax compliance experience with High Net Worth Individuals, partnerships, corporations, and international clients • Complex tax & accounting research experience that lead to analytical solutions • Experience with CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks online, and/or other accounting related software and ERP systems a plus Benefits/perks * Medical (100% firm paid), 401(K) with matching, Profit Sharing, Generous PTO, Fine dining experience after-busy-season, Paid CPE and annual tax seminar for qualified professionals, and in-house CPE, and occasional entertainment such as baseball game, bowling night, fishing, etc. * Opportunity for professional growth, strong training & development, and engaging directly with clients. * H1-B visa sponsorship available for new and transfer.
