Potential candidate will utilize Object Oriented Programming patterns to develop highly scalable web applications based on user-centered design specifications and business requirements. Specific focus will be given to the backend development process of web applications which includes design of business logic and data architecture. Duties/Responsibilities · Work with UI and e-Commerce experience designers to translate designs into functional internet applications, websites, and other browser-based tools. · Create technical development plan and implements/develops standards compliant code for web applications using the latest technologies. · Create accurate time estimates and development plans for upcoming projects and validates estimates and development tasks from team members. · Work on multiple concurrent projects and participate in the entire development lifecycle. Value: Maintain the highest level of productivity while adjusting to changing user priorities. · Create technical documentation and code comments based on industry standards. · Report to the Manager of Web / Ecommerce and provide regular input on all projects, including status and updates on a weekly basis. Qualifications/Requirements: · B.S. or B.A. degree in computer or technical-related field with courses and training in web design and development or equivalent experience. · Experience participating in the development of optimized direct to consumer ecommerce experiences and web applications. · Must have an understanding of source code management technologies. · Ability to support and migrate web development technologies and languages (ASP, PHP, JAVA, etc.) · Ability to support and migrate DB technologies, MS SQL, MY SQL, Oracle · Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in a timely manner. · Strong organizational skills and dedication to quality. · Excellent communication skills. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Must be a self-starter and able to work independently on projects. · The ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities simultaneously.
