This includes headquarter systems and networks, application development and ensuring the security, protection of, and access to, the company’s computer systems and data. Essential Functions: Corporate: • Adheres to the Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain (HTGP) policies and procedures • Learns, demonstrates and upholds HTGP Core Values • Complies with all HTGP Certification standards; Management System (IATF16949), Environmental ISO 14001 and Health and Safety ISO 45001 policies and procedures • Treats all HTGP team members with respect and professional courtesy • Always strives to maintain a positive work environment • Manages the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget • Performs additional assignments / duties as required by management EHS: • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures • Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment • Consistently meets company safety goals Technical: • Responsible for operation of peripheral information system equipment and for developing schedules for equipment usage • Leads a team of support personnel who troubleshoot IT issues • Maintains system applications (VRS, and Backup, HQ system and so on) • Helps manager lead and manage day to day operations and documents • Support end-users with IT-related problems in a responsive and service oriented manner. • Monitor backup jobs and ensure high level of completion success rate. • Analyze IT specifications to assess security risks • Design and implement safety measures and data recovery plans • Install, configure and upgrade security software (e.g. antivirus programs) • Secure networks through firewalls, password protection and other systems • Inspect hardware for vulnerable points of access • Monitor network activity to identify issues early and communicate them to IT teams • Act on privacy breaches and malware threats • Serve as a security expert and conduct trainings when needed • Draft policies and guidelines • Prepare reports and action plans in the event that a security breech does occur Leadership: • Ensures Team Members perform to company policies and procedures • Treat all team members with respect and professional courtesy • Builds and maintains good working relationships with Team Members and management • Directs multiple Team Members and their respective zones • Helps all direct reports with motivating, mentoring, personal and professional growth and goal setting • Effectively communicate with co-workers with proven leadership capacity • Takes a leading role and report to upper management by analyzing raw data into information Education • B.B.A. Management Information Systems or related degree • 1-2 years in IT or Business Systems • Cisco/Microsoft certifications a plus * Equivalent work related experience (equivalency is figured generally as 2 years’ experience equaling 1 year of formal education) may be considered in addition to the “Position Requirement”.
