    AnyIssues? 69.***.44.171 2286

    Hi,

Sorry I can’t type Korean at this time.
    My current status : AOS Pending(140 approved/485 pending) – ported by AC21.
I am currently working a full-time with A company on EAD.
I’ve gotten offer from another B company as a contractor(Part-time).
Obviously, both are same job classification in GC application.
B company wants me to use Form 1099.
I am considering to work for those companies at the same time.
As far as I know, I don’t have any issue to work for two companies on the same EAD as long as I am maintaining the full-time status for the A company.
I’ve just read somewhere on the internet saying that it is NOT good idea to use Form 1099 in AOS pending status.
Can I go with Form 1099 for the B company?

    Thank you in advance.

      1099를 받는 것이면, self-employment라 볼 수 있겠고요.
그것은 AC21조건에 맞으면 가능하다는 문서가 이민국에 있습니다.

Question 8. Can an alien port to self-employment under INA §204(j)?
Answer: Yes, as long as the requirements are met. First, the key is whether the employment is in a
“same or similar” occupational classification as the job for which the original I-140 petition was filed.
