    Location: Duluth, Georgia

    Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

    Description: This position will be responsible for managing demurrage, detention, per diem, chassis accounts, and processing AR/AP invoices for Freight Forwarding. Duties include, but are not limited to: data entry, record keeping, monitoring AR/AP, participating in month-end closing, and preparing audits and variance reports.

    Responsibilities
    • Manage charges all related to demurrage/detention/per diem/chassis charges
    o Communicate and dispute with liners/truckers/related parties
    o Prevent such accessorial charges by checking data, and sending notices to the operations.
    • Prepare and review all AR/AP invoices
    o Ensure all charges are billed correctly including A/R, A/P, Detention, Demurrage, Chassis, Additional charges, etc.
    o AR/AP data entry into the operating system
    o Dispute and follow up detention/demurrage/Chassis invoices with liners, customers, vendors
    o Manage and report any accessories charges due to operation issues
    o Make sure to keep all records related to AR/AP
    o In charge of auditing and processing travel and expense reimbursement submissions
    • Participate in month-end closing
    o Prepare, review, and audit all data entry (rates, GL code, Freight code, etc.) for month-end closing
    o Prepare month-end report including Journal Entry preparation
    o Analyze P&L, Reconciliation
    • Review payment aging for customers and vendors
    o Ensure all A/R receives and A/P pays in a timely manner
    o Check vendor statements and make sure to have the same balances
    o Follow-up payments with AR/AP HQ accounting department located in Irvine, CA.
    • Set up new customers and vendor accounts
    o Prepare required documents for new vendors & customers accounts and set them up on system
    o Follow up accounts set-up and SAP codes with AR/AP accounting department
    o Make sure to have all current accounts info for customers and vendors
    • Support for all Administrative Tasks from Management as Needed
    o Provide reports and information to other teams as needed
    o Support special projects
    o Assisting manager and team members on any projects as needed

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required
    • Proficient PC skills – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, database management systems Required
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Required
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently prioritize competing tasks Required
    • Bilingual English/Korean Preferred

    Education & Experience
    • Bachelors Degree Required
    • One (1) Year of Experience in Contract, Accounting, Logistics, SCM, or Business Administration Preferred
