Annual Fee	$99
Transaction Fees
• Purchases	Purchases of wire transfers from a non-financial institution: Either $10 or 5% of the amount of each transaction, whichever is greater.
• Balance Transfers	Either $10 or 4% of the amount of each transaction, whichever is greater.
• Cash Advances	Direct Deposit and Check Cash Advances: Either $10 or 4% of the amount of each transaction, whichever is greater. ATM, Over-the-Counter, Same-Day Online and Cash Equivalent Cash Advances: Either $10 or 5% of the amount of each transaction, whichever is greater. Overdraft Protection Cash Advances (if enrolled): $10 for each transaction (not assessed if checking account overdrawn by less than $10).
• Foreign Transactions	American Express (1) converts charges made in foreign currencies to U.S. dollars using a rate selected on the business day prior to the day on which the charges are processed by American Express and (2) applies a 1% commission to the converted amount. See the Credit Card Agreement for details.

 

 

 

 

 

이렇게 나와 있는데요. 연회비 $99 이야, 한국에서도 혜택 좋은 카드도 받으니까.

transaction fee 는 왜 제가 내는거죠???

 

몬말이지를 이해가 안가네요.

 

사무실에 앉아서 전화해서 물어보기…거시기 해서…타이핑으로~~~~ ㅠㅠㅠ

Purchase Transaction: non-financial institution 으로부터 Wire Transfer(은행에 직접가서 송금하는 것)를 할시
Balance Tranfer: 다른 카드의 발란스를 옮겨오는 것
Cash Advance: 신용카드에서 미리 현금을 당겨쓰는 것

신용카드는 쓸때마다 수수료가 발생하는데 대부분 판매자가 그걸 부담합니다. 그런데 두번째 세번째는 구입자가 곧 판매자(본인이 본인의 용도로 사용했으니) 당연히 수수료는 당사자 부담. 첫번째는 non-financial institution 이라 그런것 같네요. 판매자가 수익을 목적으로 하는 것이 아니니 카드 수수료를 낼수는 없는 것이 아닐까요?

그럼, 자동차 할부금을 카드 결제할때는 카드 거래 수수료를 제가 내야한다는 소리네요?

그건 아니죠.. 트랜젝션 피 를 물리는곳은 위에 열거한 상항만이고..
일반적인 카드사용시에는 그딴거 없습니다..
헌데.. 요새 추세가 전기세, 할부금 카드로 낼라치면.. 받는쪽에서
convenience fee 라고해서 몇불 더 받더군여 (아마도 자기들이 내야하는 카드비용)
