Able to challenge the business and be accepted by it. Have a "long-term" mindset, rather than a short-term delivery orientation. A strong commitment to standardization and scalability. Why this position is so valuable: Not a maintenance role, but a role definition role. Directly involved in designing the new company's DNA. Technical decisions that will impact the next decade or more. Standing at the intersection of manufacturing and digitalization. This type of role is almost non-existent in mature companies, but it is extremely valuable in the Greenfield project.
