RFE 메일을 받았습니다.

메디컬 그리고 아이의 secondary evidence 를 보내라고 하네요. 부모는 메디컬만 RFE 나왔구요.

You have submitted secondary evidence and/or a birth affidavit as proof of a birth record for the applicant. However, the evidence you have submitted is insufficient. Examples of acceptable secondary evidence may include, but is not limited to, church or school records listing your parent’s names and your date of birth, hospital records of your birth, or other official records indicating a country and record of birth. If the document is in a language other than English, you must submit a copy of the foreign language document and a complete English translation.

In addition to a birth affidavit or secondary evidence, Title 8 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 103.2(b)(2)(ii) states:

“Where a record does not exist, the applicant or petitioner must submit an original written statement on government letterhead establishing this from the relevant government or other authority. The statement must indicate the reason the record does not exist, and indicate whether similar records for the time and place are available.”

기본증명서 상세, 가족관계증명서 상세 번역한 것 보냈는데 이렇게 나왔네요. 아이가 제 3국 출생이라 한국 기본+가족관계증명서(상세) 및 제 3국 출생 증명서(+영어 번역 및 translation certificate) 를 보냈었습니다. 부모 이름, 생년월일, 이름이 포함된 초등학생 아이의 학교 등록증명서(?) 를 보내면 될까요? 기본증명서/가족관계증명서도 다시 보내야 하나요?

메디컬은 가족 각자 다 나왔습니다. 보낼 때 봉투 하나에 온 가족 서류를 다 보내도 괜찮을까요?

회사에서 돈은 내주는데 하는건 제가 해야 해서요. 물어는 봤는데 제 서류는 문제 없는 거 같다고 그냥 다시 보내라고 하네요.

저희 사무실에서도 같은 내용의 RFE를 받고 추가로 서류 제출해서 승인된 경험이 있습니다. 가급적 예시된 모든 서류를 제출해 주시고, 그 외에도 부모-자녀 관계를 보여준다고 생각하시는 모든 서류를 준비해 주시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 구할 수 없는 서류에 대해서는 부모님이 진술서를 작성하셔서 왜 그러한 서류를 구할 수 없는지를 설명하셔야 합니다. 잘 되셨으면 좋겠습니다.

제3국의 출생증명서가 USCIS가 찾는 서류 같아서 다시 보내보려고 합니다. 거기에 이름, 생년월일, 부모 이름 다 들어 있거든요. 공식 문서이기도 하구요. 말씀하신대로 부모-자녀 관계가 나와있는 서류를 찾아봐야겠어요. 아이 생년월일에 부모 이름이 다 들어가는 서류가 별로 없네요. 답변 감사드립니다.
