I am in H1b visa status, so I received W2 last year.

Currently one design studio offers me a part time project for several days.
Then the studio would issue 1099-MISC early next year. I don’t think i would make a lot with this offer but I can have a chance to make good business relationship.

Can anyone tell me that this 1099-MISC (or multiple 1099-MISCs) is acceptable from not my H1B sponsor?

You may not be able to get any 1099-misc from that firm.
Only thing you can do is to get paid to the company that you work for and let it compansate you.
