USCIS announced that it has received 18,932 applications in the advance degree H1B category as of 7/25. There are only 1,062 quota numbers available. Considering those uncounted applications, we estimate that the real available cap numbers are lower than this number. In addition, there might be more applications filed everyday toward the end of the cap. Therefore, we estimate that all the 20,000 advance degree H1B caps may run out by this Friday.
