CONGRATULATIONS Hyunji! I am pleased to announce that you have been accepted into the Sunny Hills High School Full Honors/Pre-International Baccalaureate program. Based upon an analysis of your academic performance, including the outstanding results of your Honors Placement Exam, your excellent CST scores, and your exemplary grades, you are now eligible to register for Freshman Honors classes at Sunny Hills.
In order to assist you and your parents in formulating a four-year academic plan that will meet the IB Diploma requirements, allow for your extracurricular interests, and maximize your opportunities for success, our counseling department has visited with all of our feeder schools and shared the various options that you have as a freshman. We will be holding a parent meeting about registration on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 6pm in the Performing Arts Center where the counseling staff will give a presentation on registration, available programs, and graduation requirements. In attendance will be representatives of our administration, counseling department, and I will be there to answer any IB program related questions.
If you do not reside within the Fullerton Joint Union High School District attendance boundaries, we will cover specific requirements to transfer to Sunny Hills at the end of the presentation. You must bring a copy of your gas or electric bill (no other bills are acceptable): Immunization records; bring a student picture ID (Passport, School ID, California Identification Card, etc.). You will complete your registration paperwork, but admission to Sunny Hills will be contingent on your release from your home school/district.

고등학교 가기 위해서 2011년 1 – 2월 사이에 시험 준비하는데
참고 자료로 유용하게 활용…편지에서 보듯이 가장 중요한것은
다음과 같다

1> CST & CAT 6 시험 성적 ( 매년 4월에서 5월사이에 미국전역에서 실시되고 …결과는 칼라로 여름방학 끝나는 9월전후에 집으로 전달됨 > 꾸준히 공부가 중요함

2> 8학년에서 수강하는 클래스 및 성적 ( 8학년 클래스 – ESL / REG/ HONOR..) 클래스 등 다양하게 운영되고 있음 .
가능하면 4개의 주요과목은 honor 클래스 수강할 것을 권함

3> Placement Exam : ENGLISH , MATH , Essay ( 이부분은 긴시간을 가지고 꾸준히 준비해야 한다…최소 1년이상 준비가 필요함

4> Acadmemic Performance : 학교 생활에 전반적인 평가

5> Recommendation Letter : 선생님 추천서 …평소에 선생님과의
관계를 nice하게 유지할 필요가 있음.
