Sr. Accountant
In this role, Sr. Accountant will assist management by performing risk assessments and evaluating critical business processes. As part of our team environment, Sr. Accountant will plan and execute check and balance function to US Affiliate companies. Key responsibilities include defining scope, analyzing controls, performing and reviewing test work, reporting results, and coaching others.Assignments will typically include:1. Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, Set-up, develop and settle down check & balance system for CJ US Affiliate companies.2. Identify the risks related to the operations of CJ US Affiliate companies3.Contributes to risk analysis, control identification, and find solutions for assigned CJ US Affiliate companies. Responsibilities may include drafting initial planning memos, control mapping, documentation of the risk-control matrix andfind how to solve the problems.4. Independently performs assigned check & balance testing as outlined in the check & balance system and is able to conclude on the effectiveness of controls. Identifies deviations from expected control activities and discusses with the in-charge.5. Set-up, develop and promote corporate accounting policy, tax strategies.6. Perform and/or initiate other projects and tasks, example M&A, set-up New corporation, required by Executive Management.7. All other duties as assignedRequirements1. BA/BS Degree (Concentration in Accounting & Business Administrion)2. Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in auditing or public accounting.3. Demonstration of excellent communication, audit and analytical skills4. Ability to analyze work process with related data analysis5. Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines required6. Ability to self manage required7. Excellent team working abilities8. Must be able to travel across USA (20%).9. Careful attention to detail, accurate required10. Must be proficiency with MS office (Word, Excel)11. Bilingual preferred (English and Korean)
