Position Identification Job Title Accounting & Tax Unit Manager Job Function Accounting & Tax Report to Corporate Management Team Director II. Job Purpose Supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. And establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information. Responsible for any federal and state tax compliance. III. Key Accountability - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, i.e. accounts payable, tax credit compliance, etc. - Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements - Coordinate and complete audits (quarterly), as well as monthly closings - Meet financial accounting objectives - Prepare tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules - Recommend tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues - Maintain legislative material by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws - Maintain compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities - Manage and facilitate federal and state tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules - Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects IV. Level of Accountability - Individual contributor - Team player - Professional level position with impact to business based on decision making V. Core Competencies - Must be computer literate, especially Microsoft EXCEL - Knowledge of SAP a plus - Requires working with some supervision - Requires a thorough understanding of industry practices, the organization's needs and general business conditions. VI. Qualification - A bachelor’s degree required - A bachelor’s degree relevant to Accounting and Finance preferred - At least 7 to 10 years’ experience in an accounting or tax department - CPA preferred - Bilingual (Korean, English) preferred - General knowledge of accounting in corporate environment I agree to the terms of service Update List
