Let’s all remember, the majority of black people were brought to this country (USA) as slaves, not voluntary immigrants. Most Asian persons came here as immigrants or were invited here to work and/or escape trauma faced in there own countries by there own people. This is not the case for the many African tribes that were stolen, enslaved and forced to build an economy (i.e country) that yet still has not given full credit for all the contributions that were made by black people.
I find it very difficult to understand how other cultures (i.e. Asian and Hispanics) don’t clearly see the difference in what we (Blacks) had to endure vs what you have chosen to experience. You all have benefited from the civil work that black people have done for hundreds of years but some how our pain and grief is irrelevant if you can’t hijack it for your on purpose and gain.
As a black person I couldn’t care less about being a victim but I do understand the value of victimization. So if it is important to you to make my people predators, well history has proven that survival always leans to the fittest and my people have proven time and time again that we are the fittest.
You can continue to blame us for your cultural misguided decisions, but at the end of the day you are well aware of how you stood by passive-aggressively and watched how White America tortured us, dehumanized us for centuries and you choice to believe what they said about us, as well, you repeatedly used their lies against us.
What is happening to your people is wrong, but do understand there are thousands of black young women and men who will never be given the opportunity that your young men and women are given with no prejudice. My people fight daily to keep our communities together, so forgive us if we’re fed up with the concept that we have to work 10 times as hard to get half as much. So if compassion is what you seeking then be prepared to give compassion in return.
Love always from Black America…
