We are hiring a Plastic Injection Molding Supervisor – 2nd Shift- for our client who develops, manufactures, and supplies automotive interior and exterior plastic parts internationally.

Job Description:

Demonstrate and apply advanced level understanding of injection plastic processing.
Supervise, manage, train and lead all shift personnel in a safe, consistent, and respectful manner by leading by example.
Maintain and provide consistent and clear communication during shift and while transferring responsibilities to the next shift.
Ensure shift production output of quality parts is within minimum cycle times or below while maximizing production of quality parts throughout the plant using all available resources.
Check and ensure proper operation of all mechanical safeties, and shift personnel understanding of safeties.
Practice, understand, and assist in material handling and labeling as necessary.
Check and confirm proper raw materials are in use at each workstation.
Raise and / or correct all safety issues while following correct procedures.
Complete production reports, sheets, maintenance and tool requests, etc.

Requirements:

3 years combined manufacturing and processing experience in an injection molding environment (Preferred)
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with people at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of plastic resins and their properties.
Understands and can apply basic tooling knowledge.
Posses mathematical skills related to time reduction, plant efficiencies, problem solving, etc.
Self-motivated team player with positive attitude and a solutions focused mindset.
Ability to: lift up to 55 pounds, stand or walk for 4 hours at a time, climb ladders and steps, be forklift certified, and wear steel-toe shoes.
Bilingual in Korean and English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year (Negotiable based on experience)
