올해는 4월1일이 일요일이고 처음 며칠간 폭주가 예상되어서 그런지 3월31일부터 접수를 받고 31일 접수분이 4월2일 receipt date가 된다고 합니다.

주목하셔야 할점은 3월31일이 토요일이라는 겁니다. 아마 courier service의 경우 토요일 수신이 가능하도록 보내야 하고 하루라도 빨리 도착해도 않됩니다. 3월30일 금요일 대부분의 H1B application이 발송되겠네요.

The first business day on which USCIS will accept a Fiscal Year (FY) 2008 H1B petition and issue a receipt notice is Monday, April 2, 2007. The USCIS guidance stated that cases delivered on Saturday, March 31, 2007 will most likely be receipted in for Monday April 2nd, since their offices are closed on Saturdays.
