영주권이 만료일 6/7/2020 이어서 3월에 uscis.gov에서? I-90 Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card 를 신청하였습니다.

이민국에서 편지 2장을 받았습니다.

1. Receipt Notice – Sent on March 20, 2020
2. Biometric Reuse – Sent on April 22, 2020

내용:

U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has received your form and is currently processing your application, petition, or request. This notice
informs you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security checks and use
your biometric data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometrics
appointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded.
USCIS is continuing to process your application, petition, or request.

USCIS will contact you in writing if any additional information is necessary to resolve
your case.
This notice is not an approval of your pending application, petition, or request.

다행이 운전면허증은 자동 리뉴되어 날라왔네요 .exp: 10/05/2020?

영주권 만료일이 얼마 안남았는데 어떻게 해야 하나요?
이대로 그냥 기다려야 하나요? 이민국에 연락을 해봐야 하는건가요?
내일이면 영주권 만료일인데….

만료되도 영주권이 소멸되는 건 아닌 것으로 알고 있어요.
전 6개월 남겨두고 리뉴월 신청하고 연락와서 이민국에 갔더니 새 영주권이 12개월후에 도착할 수 있다면서 기존 영주권에
12개월 연장 스티커 같은 걸 붙였어요. 새 영주권은 사실 얼마 후에 도착했구요.
기다리시면 될 것 같아요.

영주권 카드 만료된다고 permanent residency가 날라가는 거 아닙니다. 그냥 운전면허증 처럼 신분 증명하는 서류가 만료되는 거에요.

만약 영주권 카드 필요하실 일이 생기면 (해외 출국이나 취직) uscis 연락해서 i-551 stamp 예약 잡으시면 됩니다.
