Now Editing “영어 고수님들…… waive의 정확한 뜻이 뭡니까” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) 제가 영어가 잘 안되는데 미중북부 한 아파트에서 렌트를 하고 삽니다. 저번에도 썼지만, 바퀴벌레 나온다고 저희집만 타켓해서 체크하고 가고 - 제가 이렇게 생각하는 이유는 있습니다. 아무튼 살면서 여자 혼자 사니까 이래저래 귀찮게 하는것 같아요. 저는 가라지 도어를 잠그지 않아요. 그냥 직접 문열고 닫고 하는게 낫거든요 수동으로. 여기 워낙 춥고 눈이 와서 안 열릴때도 있더라고요. 얼어 가지고요. 이래저래 관리도 잘 못하고 해서 그냥 매뉴얼로 열고 닫고 하는데. 어느날은 제가 요구하지도 않았는데 핸디맨이 와서 제 가라지 도어를 수동이었던 문을 묻지도 않고 자동으로 바꿔놓은 거에요. 저는 열쇠도 없는데. 아무튼 그걸 사무실에서 알았고. 꼭 문을 잠그라고 하는데 수동으로 사용할 수가 없다는 겁니다. 무조건 자동으로 해 놓고 항상 잠궈야 한대요. 이래저래 이메일을 2-3번 주고 받았는데, 저쪽 사무실 측에서 말하는 waive란 말을 모르겠네요? 저게 도대체 무슨 말인가요? 돈을 내라는 말인지. 내지 말인지... 나중에 내게끔 하겠다는 말인지..... 정확한 뜻이 뭡니까 영어 고수님들...
