Position Summary:
The Molding Process Engineer is responsible for the implementation and documented production processes. This includes; troubleshooting production processes and auditing of production setups for adherence to the documented process, and identifying automation and productivity improvement opportunities

Essential Functions of Position:
Responsible for the set-up, startup, troubleshoot and monitor of plastic injection molding machinery and related equipment. Started up and cycled in mold, in accordance with documented cycles and startup qualification procedures.

Planned, Directed Installation of new injection-molding department. Installing the machinery to correct specifications, installing the tooling and setting up the process to completion. Direct mold repairs to mold room management staff for trouble shooting and mold repair.

Responsible for assisting with the installation of injection machinery and train technicians and direct support personnel on the correct methods in maintaining injection department raw materials and supplies and equipment.

Work with safety… assist safety compliance supervisor with OSHA safety program, safety equipment installations & operational procedures. This includes: plant contingency plan development & Near miss solution team. Trained as a plant emergency responder.
