Now Editing “세금보고시 건강보험 벌금 (뉴저지)” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) 뉴저지는 세금보고때 건강보험 없으면 벌금을 내야 한다고 합니다. 그런데 아래 사이트 정보를 보면 Nonresident 이거나 Dual-status 인 사람이 시민권자 배우자와 부부 조인트 세금보고를 하는 경우엔 벌금 면제가 된다고 하는데요. “A nonresident alien or dual-status who elects to file a joint return with a U.S. spouse” https://nj.gov/treasury/njhealthinsurancemandate/exemptions.shtml 의문점은 Nonresident와 Dual-status 상태로는 부부조인트 세금보고를 할 수가 없는걸로 압니다. 물론 시민권자 배우자면 Nonresident 이거나 Dual-status 인 자기 배우자를 resident 로 바꿔서 세금보고 할 수 있는 초이스가 있다고 하지만 이렇게 해버리면 위에서 말했던 Nonresident 또는 Dual-status 가 받을 수 있는 벌금면제 혜택을 받을 수 가 없을텐데요. 어떻게 저 벌금면제 자격을 적용하면서 동시에 부부 조인트 세금보고가 가능한지 세금보고 시스템이 궁굼합니다.
