Job Description : • Confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate the flow of products. • Coordinate and oversee the set-up and execution of all physical inventories. • Monitors parts inventory on an ongoing basis from continuous cycle counts, making recommendations and adjustments as needed. • Assist in the movement of materials as needed and manage the operation of the material handling machinery to help maximize workflow. • Analyze various reports (receiving, inventory movement) and then confer with the supervisor to develop a schedule for material handling. • Manage material inventory by car type/production line. • Implement physical inventory count as required. • Manage the entire purchasing process.
