회사에서 덴탈과 메디컬을 이번에 해주었습니다.
그래서 이번에 사랑니를 4개 뽑고 싶은데. 저는 사랑니때문에 아픈적이 없습니다. 곱게 낫기 때문에. 그래서 굳이 아프지 않으면 뽑지 않아도 된다 하긴 했는데 자꾸 음식물이 끼고 그러니 양치질도 자주해야 하고 좀 그럽니다.

미국서는 사랑니 뽑는게 덴탈 서젼을 통해서 해야 한다는데… 저는 사랑니가 다 나와있고 그냥 다른 이빨 뽑듯이 하면 될거 같은데.. 이거를 덴탈이 커버해줄까요? 아니면 Major surgery 로 쳐서 메디컬이 커버해줄까요?

이런것도 waiting period가 있나요?

You’d better talk with a dentist about it. My dentist said one tooth next a wisdom teeth got a catity because of a wisdom teeth. But still I cannot feel any pain. I plan to extract wisdom teeth in three weeks.
General dentist doesn’t dela with wisdom teeth. Surgery dentist can extract them and you May need a referral from dentist.
Some dental insurance doesn’t cover all of the surgery expense. You’d better check with dental insurance company how much they will cover. Surgery dentist office can check that for you before fixing a date.

You dentist may push you to pull them out since it’s easy money. I don’t think you have to if your wisdom teeth are all fine. Why don’t you see more than 2 dentists for second/third opinions.

치과보험으로 대부분 커버되지만, 일이커지면 의료보험으로 커버해야 하는 경우도 있습니다. 치과 의사인 제 친구말에 의하면 않아프면 꼭 뽑아야 하는 것은 않이라고 하더군요. 물론 잘 점검을 6개월마다 해야 겠지요..
