안녕하세요, 캘리포니아 얼바인에 있는 조그마한 뇌파 관련 벤처 회사로 부터 오퍼를 받았습니다. 사장은 인도계 미국인이고, 신경과 의사입니다.

저는 research scientist로 오퍼를 받았고, 연봉은 11만불이고, 이사비용으로 4천불을 이사관련 영수증을 가지고 오면 주겠다고 되어있습니다. 참고로, 저는 아내와 초등학생 두 딸과 현재 버지니아에 거주하고 있습니다.

벤처회사들의 핵심인, stock option에 대하여, 얼마를 주겠다는 내용은 없고, 아래와 같이 애매모호한 정보가 오퍼레터에 적혀 있네요.

The company covers the base plan for the employee; however, you will be responsible for dependent coverage premiums and the difference in premium cost of buying up to a different plan.

종합적으로 판단해서, 좀 힘들어 보이는 회사인것 같습니다. 이 오퍼가 이정도 규모의 벤처에서 평균적인가요? 아니면 형편 없는것인가요?
