1) Accounting Specialist

2) Specific Duties

• Owning the month-end close process in accordance with GAAP and company policy, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial transactions
• Preparing month-end journal entries
• Preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations with proper supporting documentation
• Compiling and analyzing financial statements, including monthly fluctuation analysis on the balance sheet and income statement
• Acting as a backup for accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Cooperate on a large number of aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and variance analysis)
• Performs expenditure analyses and prepares budget-related financial summaries and recommendations for review
• Analyze monthly preliminary financial statements for missing expenses, prepare expense accrual entries
• Assist internal and external auditors during audits
• Inquest and query large amounts of data

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present clear and well-documented findings and recommendations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze a problem, troubleshoot it, and provide an end-to-end solution
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, and a team player
• Strong interpersonal skills with all levels
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant, progressive accounting experience
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or similar field
• Must be fluent in Korean
