Now Editing “박사과정 Scholarship Income” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) 안녕하세요 F1으로 5년이상 있어서 이제 세법상으로 Resident alien인 박사과정생입니다. 이번에 학교에서 1098-T를 받았는데요, 그 안에 제가 받은 Scholarship Income과 Payments received for qualified tuition and related expenses가 있습니다. 일단 유학생이고 대학원생이라 Education Credit은 받지 못한다는 걸 알고 있는데요 Scholarship Income의 세금유무에 관해 알아보니 1098T에 있는 Payments received for qualified tuition and related expenses까지는 Non taxable이고 그 이상만 taxable이라고 하는데, 이 설명이 F1 유학생에게도 (Resident alien이라면) 적용되는 말인가요? 혹시 괜히 Scholarship Income 전체가 아닌 차액만 세금보고했다가 문제가 생길까봐 여쭤봅니다. 감사합니다!
