You can buy a brand new MX-950 iron set for less than $450 from Ebay. Look for some power sellers with tens of thounsands of transaction records. But may people say the oler model MX-900 is the better club than MX-950 in many ways. I would recommend MX-900 because it is better and much cheaper than MX-950. MX-900 is a more iron like club while MX-950 is a hybrid like club even in higher irons. And avoid MP models. They are for better players. You’ve got to be at least a 15 handi to handle MP-52, the easiest MP iron model. Enjoy your new hobby, but I warn you that golf is quite addictive. In my opinion, the best instruction books for beginners and better players are “Swing like a pro” (by Mann) and “Feel the inside move the outside” (by Hebron). And look for tons of free golf instruction files on youtube, especially from “the golfing machine” instructors (you can type ‘golfing machine’ or ‘TGM’ on youtube and there are lots of files from them. I think they are the best teaching professionals. Also look for “Steve Elkington” on youtube. He has the best swing among PGA golfers you may want to emulate his swing. (Tiger Woods is for rare freaks.)
