Responsibilities: Primary contact with the customer as representative for engineering Lead and coordinate development for product design, and validation (ADVP&R) Analyze & understand Ford Seatbelt specification and ensure the compliance. Work with global team Support manufacturing activities (plants and suppliers) to ensure the product meets design intent Support resolution of quality issue, Teardown activities Monitor/Oversee pre-production order from customer, and ensure on time delivery Maintain and coordinate engineering changes Responsible for managing/coordinate DFMEA Participate/support new business pursuit Support VAVE activities Designs and details components/process related drawings Packaging Study for Seatbelt system Release CAD data in internal & OEM PLM system (Teamcenter) Completes design tolerance stack-up studies. Displays an excellent knowledge of one or more CAD systems. Job Requirements: Preferred 5+ year experience at tier 1 with Ford program development in engineering, Seatbelt experience is preferred.
