We are looking for seasoned Seatbelt Application Engineer for Ford program, who has
experience in all aspects for the development in tier 1 supplier.

Responsibilities:
– Primary contact with customer as representative for engineering
– Lead and coordinate development for product design, and validation (ADVP&R)
– Analyze & understand Ford Seatbelt specification and ensure the compliance.
– Work with global team, Willingness to work outside of normal working hour to support global teams
– Support manufacturing activities (plants and suppliers) to ensure the product meets design intent
– Support resolution of quality issue, Teardown activities
– Monitor/Oversee pre-production order from customer, and ensure on time delivery
– Maintain and coordinate engineering changes
– Responsible for managing/coordinate DFMEA
– Participate/support new business pursuit
– Support VAVE activities

Job Requirements:
– 5+ year experience at tier 1 with Ford program development in engineering, Seatbelt experience is preferred.
– Engineering level understanding on PLM (Teamcenter) & CAD system (CATIA, NX)
– Must have Ford WERS (World Engineering Release System) experience
– Strong interpersonal skills
– Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
– Knowledge of GD&T, APQP and PPAP processes
– Proficiency in MS office products
– Willingness to travel as needed (Aprx. 20%)
– Ability to maintain confidentiality on products, services, and processes
– BS in Engineering
– Korean-English bilingual preferred, Spanish is a plus
– Willingness to interact in multi-cultural working environments
