POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining and supporting all aspects of quality in compliance with corporate, domestic and international standards. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Develops, applies, communicates and maintains quality system procedures and standards to comply with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 registration and ensure conformity to customer requirements. • Reviews and approves analytical data throughout the electrolyte manufacturing process. • Performs internal audits to monitor the company’s quality system. • Provides support for product and process submissions to ensure that PPAP requirements for customer acceptance are fulfilled. • Assists Quality Manager with developing and analyzing reports on quality metrics and performance for continuous improvement. • Supports problem solving activities related to corrective and preventive actions. • Interfaces with customer quality representatives regarding issues and concerns. • Consults with third party vendors to ensure compliance and accuracy for EHS-related matters. • Follows all company, industry standard and OSHA safety procedures. • Provides support to other departments, as needed. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in science-related field (Chemical Engineering preferred). • 1-3 years experience preferred in an ISO 9001- or IATF 16949-registered chemical manufacturing facility preferred. SKILLS: • Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail. • Knowledge of quality systems auditing preferred. • Knowledge of statistics and statistical process control preferred. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
