– Northville, MI – Sales Account Specialist – 1 personResponsibilities
– Strategically forecast and update sales targets on a regular basis.
– Engage with customers to ensure high satisfaction through exceptional service, quality, and punctual delivery.
– Develop and maintain comprehensive profiles of new and potential customers.
– Coordinate all sales order activities to provide the SBMI multidisciplinary team with essential details for effective order fulfillment.
– Monitor purchasing, transportation, delivery, and quality issues for operational efficiency.
– Prepare quotations (RFQ), Sales Orders, and manage materials efficiently.
– Collaborate with the process team to develop production schedules based on sales forecasts.
– Communicate consistently with the HQ team for organizational alignment.
– Compile and report sales activities, providing insightful analysis.
– Record and analyze sales performance to identify trends and opportunities.
– Manage accounts receivable and support other departments as needed.
– Establish business plans, confirm customer development projects, and negotiate contracts.
– Periodically report on customer trends and competitor status to management.Skills
– Proven ability to work independently with demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and self-initiative skills.
– Strong project management, financial analysis, communication, and collaboration skills.
– Cross-discipline exposure and functional knowledge of Supply Chain disciplines impacting contract manufacturing strategy, processes, and costs.
– Successful collaboration with cross-functional departments within and outside the organization.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.Qualification
– Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration or Chemical Engineering preferred).
– 2+ years’ experience in chemical sales or a related field is preferred
– Bilingual proficiency in Korean is a plus
– Driver’s License (Required)
