RESPONSIBILITIES: The typical duties of Export Operations include but not limited to: - Route and expedite movements of incoming and outgoing freight shipments in and out of airlines, steamship companies, railroads, truckers, warehouses, terminals, etc. - Take orders and arrange pickup and delivery of freight. - Work closely with business partners to ensure smooth operations per timelines. - Handle general inquires regarding shipments, ETA and charges. - Handle day-to-day operations and transactions - Arrange booking and execute and handle all pertinent shipping documents - Send shipment arrival notification letters to consignee and issue delivery orders. - Ensure timely invoicing, issuance of credit notes, internal expenses report and month-end closing - Assist in sourcing rates with various carriers.
