The Arrival-Departure Record, CBP Form I-94W (green form), is no longer required for nonimmigrant visitors traveling under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) by air or sea and who have obtained a travel authorization via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). During Summer 2010, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) transitioned to automated processing for VWP travelers with ESTAs making the use of Form I-94W unnecessary in the air and sea environments.
