FLSA Status: ExemptAbout the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organized HR Generalist with a strong focus on full cycle recruiting to support our growing team. This role also covers onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.Duties and Responsibilities
– Manage end-to-end recruiting: job postings, resume screening, phone interviews, and coordination with hiring managers.
– Administer payroll-related tasks by managing hourly timecards, reviewing PTO and travel requests, and tracking attendance for both exempt and non-exempt staff to ensure accurate compensation and recordkeeping.
– Assist with visa application processes and coordination with legal teams, while managing USCIS notifications and ensuring ongoing compliance with immigration regulations for visa-holding employees.
– Coordinate employee benefits administration, including monthly insurance invoice processing, annual renewals, and employee recognition programs such as birthday gift cards, congratulatory gestures, and condolences. Maintain ongoing communication with brokers and support employee well-being initiatives.
– Support OSHA compliance by coordinating safety training, monitoring adherence to safety standards (e.g., PPE, hazard prevention), and assisting with OSHA inspections and follow-up actions.
– Respond to employee inquiries, conduct internal investigations, and hold HR meetings to maintain a compliant and respectful workplace. Lead HR policy training to reinforce understanding internal rules and regulations.
– Facilitate employee offboarding through proper termination documentation, exit interviews, and collection of feedback to ensure compliant and respectful separations.
– Support planning and execution of company events and ensure proper documentation management by filing employee records, timecards, and onboarding materials for easy access and compliance.Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
– 3+ years of HR experience (recruiting and generalist work).
– Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
– Proficient in ATS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
