JOB DESCRIPTION

Quality Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining and managing all aspects of quality in compliance with corporate, domestic and international standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

· Develops, applies, communicates and maintains quality system procedures and standards to comply with ISO 9001 certification and ensure conformity to customer requirements.

· Facilitates both product and process submissions ensuring that PPAP requirements for customer acceptance are fulfilled.

· Develops and analyzes reports on quality metrics for continuous improvement.

· Interfaces with customer quality representatives pertaining to issues and concerns.

· Consult with third party vendors to ensure compliance and accuracy for SDS creation and EHS-related matters.

· Follows all company, industry standard and OSHA safety procedures.

· Provides support other departments, as needed.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree in chemical/ Mechanical/Industrial engineering or related field.

· 1-3 years experience in an ISO 9001-registered chemical manufacturing facility.

SKILLS:

· Knowledge of statistics and statistical process control.

· Knowledge of quality systems auditing.

· Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail.

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Fluency in Korean preferred.
