From my friend’s experience..(therefore, it may not be the case for you), she had MS degree from Korea, and applied to US university for MS. School first questioned her why she wanted to have second MS for the same major, and she told school that she wanted to experience wider and deeper knowledge that US universities can provide (well, it may not be true), and the school accpeted her in MS program with same major. The other friend had his MS from US university and wanted to apply to Ph.D but he could not get in, so apllied to MS again. And the school siad NO because he already had same major MS from US university. Why don’t you ask to the schools that you wish to apply whether they accept studnets for second MS degree with same major.
Again, my case, I had MS in physics in the US school and then applied to the different school for second MS but in engineering. I did not have any problem to get accepted.
