If I were you,, I would counter this way, (btw I’ve never seen anyone asking more Sign-on bonus)
Base :165K -> 185K, RSU 100K –> 150K (3year)
then they will come back with 175k base, 125K RSU, then you accept.
FYI – I have similar background as yours.. with 195k base, and 150K RSU
