Home Forums Tax State 인컴택스 면제인 주에서 State 인컴택스 면제인 주에서 Name * Password * Email I moved from CA to TX. The tax report on that year showed me that I had to indicate when I actually moved. Depending on this, state tax was applied. For example, I moved to TX at June, then I was supposed to pay the state tax for all income from Jan to June. For a house, and if there is a capital gain, it is totally subject to the state tax where this property resides. For example, if you move to TX in June but sell a house in CA in Oct, it does not matter. You have to pay the CA state tax for capital gain from this house transaction since this property is in CA.
